We, Muslims need this significant religious science because the Holy Quran was written in the classical Arabic language.Īnd we sent not a Messenger except with the language of his people, in order that he might make (the Message) clear for them. It teaches us how to pronounce each letter from its own articulation point. Scientists made those rules to help Muslims read the Holy Quran ayat in the best way. “Tajweed” is a classical Arabic word that means make better or to improve. To recognize and understand the treasures inside the Quran, you should learn it well and read it in the right way. Quran is the life book it is full of miracles made by Allah, stories of last people, orders to win Jannah, and warnings to avoid being bad humans. Also, Quran is considered an instructor to Muslims all over the world and among generations. Muslims respect the Holy Quran because it is the words said directly by Allah to our beloved Mohammed (PBUH).
One should stop at a verse of warning and seeking protection with Allah.One should be vigilant of the purity of body, clothes, and place.One should understand the proper pronunciation of Arabic alphabet.One should feel that every message in the Quran is meant personally for himself or herself.The reader should throw away all other thoughts.

It is derived from the trilateral root j-w-d, meaning to make well, make better, or improve. It is a set of rules which govern how the quran should be read. Tajweed is an Arabic word meaning proper pronunciation during quran recitation, as well as recitation at a moderate speed.
